ALAMIN MINING PROPERTY
This mining property is one of the best virgin placer deposits left in Alaska. It is located 48 miles NNW of McGrath about half way between the rich gold deposits of Ophir and Poorman on the Iditarod Trail.

The upper half of the creek produced a reported 3000 oz. of gold per year for many years (decades). The lower half should be the richest. There is about four miles of virgin ground in an easy to mine valley. The only drilled part is a small area between Cripple and Bear Creeks. The independent mining engineer’s report shows 32,000 oz. of proven gold in that ground. The engineer estimated at least 100,000 oz. of gold in the rest of the unworked ground. There is some frozen ground.

The gravels are very easy on equipment as no boulders are seen. There is some equipment on site but at least a dozer, backhoe and front-end loader should be brought in. Good cabins for living and shop work are in place. There a small airstrip of about 2500 ft. on the property and a 4000+ strip three miles up stream that need some repair before use.

The owner has been asking $3 million owner financed but because of lower gold prices he is very open to any reasonable offer. He lives in another state and will not be coming back.
