Western Miner Silver Edition

“Those who have mineral wealth... rule?”

As this is the ninth year the Western Miner Database has been online, using the Internet as a win-win way (www?) for American prospectors to present the ‘full disclosure’ of a potential mining property they have found, to those who control the paper, or lately electronic, money credits needed to prove/disprove up mining claims, by diamond drilling, or “company making” bootstrap production, Editor Roberta Dickerson asked me, as the founder, to bring the site design up to date by rethinking both the cover graphics, and the big picture premise.  Our promise to our readers, as we charge claim holders $500 for a “data page,” linked, where it made sense, to the readership of our mining magazine “empire,” is that can trust our selections over the “free” property listings online trying to make a buck at the sometime only pennies a click of online advertising.

Roberta Dickerson does not
suffer fools, kindly.

Our experience with our Internet experiment, that actually goes way back to pre-web fido-network publishing, is lately we can’t list enough small gold properties, or at least claims that can be developed by privately held, limited to a small number of investors, corporations. They get snapped up so fast that last winter Publisher/Editor Roberta Dickerson (who controls 45,000 unique Internet eyeballs per month), got stiffed her nominal $300 fee  (which thanks to him, she just raised to $500) by a 20-acre unpatented placer claim holder in Northern California, who sold his property from a listing put up for his “proof approval,” before inter-linking to www.goldminingclaims.net, etc. — a system explained more fully on www.MiningMagazines.com. And, more to the point, before making his PayPal payment for online advertising!

As a by-the-way FYI, know that Alaskan Dickerson showed that a “skookum” female can swing a pick as a prospector through her sale of AG/CU claims she had helped stake to Amoco (Standard Oil of Indiana), after teaching the ‘mining lawyers’ of Citicorp a thing or two about apex law.
